1/17 - Farmington -- Brown Creeper (picking up suet crumbs from bark
crevices below suet feeder). Red-Breasted Nuthatch zipping in and out
around the woodpeckers at the suet feeders.

Plainfield, Quinebaug Fish Hatchery -- ICELAND GULL, LESSER SCAUP,
EASTERN PHOEBE.

1/16 - Horfolk, Shepard Rd -- I stopped by Shepard Rd. in Norfolk
briefly this morning (11:30AM) and did NOT see the Pine Grosbeacks.
Also the snow that had accumulated on the branches was not disturbed
telling me that they were not there earlier. Also the little remaining
fruit was still on the trees and not on the snow covering the ground.

lot we saw about 8 Pine Grosbeaks in the fruiting trees. There were
2-3 adult males, 2 russet colored birds and a few adult females.
