 From John Ogren:
1/23 - Hammonasett SP -- Western Tanager was found at 11 at west side
of campground, west of Mohegan1. It was there for 15 minutes and
flushed to a stand of cedars/junipers further west of Mohegan 1.
Stayed in trees for another 15 min. I left and came back. Nick
Bonomo and I found the bird again at noon in middle of campground 1/2
between campsite 30 and Mohegan 1. Look for large flock of Juncos,
Yellow-rumps, and Pine Warblers.

 From Dori Sosensky:
1/23 - Hammonasett SP -- 3:55, Western Tanager in the cedars around
the bathroom Mohegan 1, in the camping area.

 From Jim Bair:
1/28/08 - Madison, Hammonassett Beach State Park -- 1 WESTERN TANAGER.
Bird seen by 5 of us from about 2:40 to 2:50 p.m. In the campground
area look for a flock of feeder birds in the vicinity of Camp site #1
or Camp site #30 (they are not that far from each other). This flock
seems to hang around there and grows and diminishes in size as the day
goes on. If you are patient staking this flock out, then hopefully
the Tanager will appear.

 From David Gersten:
1/23 - Windsted, industrial park -- 12:30 pm, five Pine Grosbeaks in
the crabtrees in front of the business on International Way (off of
the Industrial Park which is off Rt. 20 north of town off Rt 8). Two
males in the group.

 From Paul Cianfaglione:
1/23 - West Hartford, Reservoir #6 (route 44) -- 1 GREATER
WHITE-FRONTED GOOSE, 1 first winter ICELAND GULL.

 From Mike Warner:
1/23 - Wilton, Lindentree Road, Kent Pond -- 3:15 pm, one immature
Snow Goose with flock of Canada geese on lawn, west side of pond.

 From Jan Collins:
1/23 - Somers Yard -- 1 BROWN CREEPER
