Cedar Island trail by some), CLAY-COLORED SPARROW ("old rotary" -
straight ahead from main rotary), FIELD SPARROW, WHITE-CROWNED
SPARROW, SWAINSON'S THRUSH, EASTERN MEADOWLARK (2).

10/18 - New Have, Lighthouse Point, Hawkwatch -- one first-winter
GLAUCOUS GULL flew low, north-west over the hawkwatch at approx.
3:45pm. Apparently a new species for the park.  Also 200 Pine Siskins,
1 Eastern Meadowlark.

10/18 - Bridgeport, Beardsley Park -- SNOW GOOSE.
Brookfield, Gurski Open Space, accessed from CT 25 -- 2 PURPLE FINCHES
and a GRAY-CHEEKED THRUSH type.

exit road -- At least 3 juv. LITTLE BLUE HERONS.
10/17 - Norwalk, County St., old Norwalk H.S. football field -- during
10 minute break this morning were 7 species of sparrows including 4
imm. WHITE-CROWNED.  Wish I had more time.  
10/16 - Norwalk, County St., old Norwalk H.S. football field --
YELLOW-BREASTED CHAT, presumably the same bird I had here back on
10/4.
