Note: There are already reports of Snowy Owls and Common Redpolls
moving south. Not as far south as Connecticut - yet - but then it
will probably be up to someone on this list to make those reports, if
and when.

 From Frank Mantlik:
10/24 - Milford, Silver Sands S.P. -- 4:30pm, 1 VESPER SPARROW & 1
WHITE-CROWNED SPARROW were among 100 sparrows of 6 species along the
gravel section of park road, as well as the grass/shrub rows. Also 1
Wilson's Snipe.

 From Dean Rupp:
10/24 - Madison, Hammonasset State Park -- 5 SNOW BUNTINGS in parking
area by Nature Center at 1:00.

 From Frank Gallo:
10/23 - Milford, Milford Point -- 10 American Pipits, and 3 Lapland
Longspurs feeding on the bars off Francis St. at Milford Point.  The
birds were seen in the morning, but the Pipits, at least, were still
in the area in the afternoon.
