9/09 - Stamford, Cove Island Park sanctuary -- Morning, 1 adult Great
Cormorant off shore from the sanctuary. Evening, Dicksissel,
Lincoln's Sparrow, both in the foxtail grass near the entrance.

9/09 - Southbury, Audubon Center at Bent of the River -- KENTUCKY
WARBLER. (in the mock orange under the big shadblow on the left side
of the path near the paddock as seen from the wood shed near the
barn).

9/09 - Southbury, Audubon Center at Bent of the River -- HOODED
WARBLER. (Flew into the shadblow while we were trying to relocate the
Kentucky). The consensus was adult female.

9/09 - Bridgeport -- Today I was working in Bridgeport on the big red
& white stack at the power plant on the harbor. While at the 240 foot
level, I heard a bird calling above and when I looked up ,3 PERIGRINE
FALCONS flew off the next higher level and headed toward Bridgeport
proper.

SANDPIPERS in plowed wet spot near north end of runway.

9/08 - Southbury, Audubon Center at Bent of the River, hawk watch site
-- VESPER SPARROW.

9/08 - Milford, Milford Point (far end of Piping Plover spit) -- about
an hour before high tide, 2 White-rumped Sandpipers, 1 Pectoral
Sandpiper; also at spit, in Spartina, 1 Saltmarsh Sharp-tailed
Sparrow.
