 From Greg Hanisek:
02/04/09 - Watertown, Quassapuag Road, just S of Bunker Hill Road --
one LINCOLN'S SPARROW at feeder that's been hosting a flock of C.
Grackles through the winter. There were about 35 grackles there late
this morning. I saw the Lincoln's about 11:30 a.m. It spent most of
its time on the feeder, rather than on the ground. It eventually flew
across the road into a Christmas tree farm. This is a very scarce
winter bird, and this deep into the season it's a real rarity. It's
the first one I've ever found myself in winter.

 From Don Morgan:
02/04/09 - Mansfield, Stearns Rd, Stearns Farm -- at least 150 Snow
Buntings.

 From Dean Rupp:
02/04/09 -  Madison, Hammonasset SP -- 2 SNOW BUNTINGS in Nature
Center parking lot @ 12:30.  (The 2 birds were together but not near
any other birds.)

 From Barbara Garrett
02/03/09 - North Stamford yard -- COMMON REDPOLL.

 From Jan Collins:
02/03/09 - Somers, yard -- BROWN CREEPER pair.
Somers, Durkee Rd -- 3:30PM, 3 SNOW BUNTINGS feeding on spilled corn
in road.
Windsor, Windsor Landfill -- 1 PM, 1 GLAUCOUS GULL, 1 ICELAND GULL;
both looked like 1st winter.
Windsor, Northwest Park -- 1 YELLOW-BELLIED SAPSUCKER spotted near
nature center.
