Notes:  (1) The unspecified birds in the new New Milford roost of last
night's report were Black Vultures.  (2) Pine Siskins are still all
over the place, so much so (even had one in MY yard) that I am still
leaving them out of the reports.  (3) If you really want to know what
is around you should be looking in CTBirds, not just this summary. All
sorts of interesting birds don't make it into this summary.

01/11/09 - East Haven, Ora Avenue/Proto Drive, landfill -- I was able
to get a good look at of one of the (assumed EASTERN) MEADOWLARKS.  It
showed extensive white on the outer tail feathers, distinctly more
than the guide shows on the western.
