Night-Heron, predominantly juvenile and 2nd year; Long-billed

08/23/12 - Harwinton, yard -- 1 Tennessee Warbler.

08/23/12 - Windsor Locks -- Thursday evening had a flock of about 30
Common Nighthawks fly over my house heading east. A few minutes they
returned, this time heading west. Guess they needed a correction in
their flight path!

08/23/12 - Avon -- Around 6 PM; a flock of about 30 Common Nighthawks
at the intersection of Routes 10 & 185.

08/23/12 - Madison, Hammonasset State Park -- 6 LITTLE BLUE HERONS in
the marsh east of the nature center. 2 adults and 4 all white
immature in an apparent family group.

Nuthatch, by ear about 8:30 & again 11:30 AM/noon.
