05/13/12 - Canton yard -- After watching hundreds of warblers leave
overhead and not hearing any Cape Mays, I thought they left.  A
brilliant male Cape May Warbler began to sing from a Norway Spruce.

05/13/12 - East Hartford, Cabela's Pond -- 9:30 AM; the Tricolored
Heron was hanging out.

 From Paul Carrier:
05/13/12 - ?????, yard -- 9:30 AM; 12 species of warblers in 30
minutes in one tree, including Blackburnian Warbler, Tennessee
Warbler, Cape May Warbler.  Also, a Common Raven flew up from my
compost pile.

05/13/12 - Weston, Trout Brook Valley Conservation Area -- 19 warbler
species including 1 CERULEAN WARBLER, very rare for county, singing
away at green/white trail clearing.  Others included 1 singing
BLACKBURNIAN WARBLER, 1 WILSON'S WARBLER (f). Also 2 ACADIAN
FLYCATCHER, 1 YELLOW-BILLED CUCKOO, 1 BLACK-BILLED CUCKOO, 1 COMMON
RAVEN, and so many more "good" birds.

05/13/12 - Hamden/New Haven -- highlights included TENNESSEE WARBLER,
WILSON'S WARBLER, BLACKBURNIAN WARBLER. Birds spaced widely, less
activity than Saturday and much less than Friday.
Hamden, West Rock State Park -- heard BLACK-BILLED CUCKOO.

Bicknell's Thrush migrating, Solitary Sandpiper.

05/13/12 - New Haven, East Rock Park -- 39 species with 10 warblers
including Tennessee Warbler.

(31) WORM-EATING WARBLERS along the main road and the trail out of the
north parking lot.

Lake Mohegan -- 1 BLACKBURNIAN WARBLER.
Oak Lawn Cemetary -- 1 SWAINSON'S THRUSH.
Birdcraft Sanctuary -- 2 SWAINSON'S THRUSH, 1 BLACKBURNIAN WARBLER.
