the yellow gate, just past the open area on the left.

where John and Jim had the Philadelphia Vireo this morning and came up
with 2 of them!

09/03/12 - Killingworth, Chatfield Hollow State Park -- Today (Monday)
at 2:00 PM there was an Olive-sided Flycatcher spotted that the
parking lot next to the board-walk. The bird was spotted perched on
top of a tall white pine on the right side of the field by birder John
Laver of NYC. The bird was still there when we left around 2:35 PM.

09/03/12 - Ivoryton, Park Road, Comstock Park -- OLIVE-SIDED
FLYCATCHER in Red Maple swamp left of first baseball field.  Seen
between 730AM and 7:50 AM and again at 9:18 AM for a brief period.
Other brids of note included BLACKBURNIAN WARBER and YELLOW-BREASTED

HERON (6 adults, 2 juveniles, and 2 mottled subadults).

09/02/12 - Old Lyme, Great island -- 7:30-9:30; As I was pulling my
kayak up on the marsh grass two BLACK SKIMMERS flew close by skimming.

09/02/12 - Sterling yard -- another flyover RED CROSSBILL calling and
heading north today.

09/02/12 - Bolton Backyard -- RED-BREASTED NUTHATCHES for the forth
Paddle on the Lt. River -- VIRGINIA RAIL.
