walkway -- Morning flight of about 200 warblers, 6:15 - 7:30 AM. Also
1 Bay-breasted Warbler.

09/10/12 - Greenwich, Greenwich Point -- a fair amount of Bobolink and
Purple Finches.  There was a flurry of Red-breasted Nuthatches with 7
fly overs in 10 seconds at one point, the total heard was 15+.  Most
impressive this morning however was a great concentration of
Swainson's Thrushes. At sunrise there were 10 in a shrub and a
seperate group of 8 a short time later. Counting all the singles and
doubles there were at least two dozen that I saw, by far a daily high
for me.

Stratford Army Engine Plant this morning (0823) as seen from the
Birdseye Boat Ramp area.

Sparrow (with a flock of Chipping Sparrows) at the Middle Beach

Peregrine Falcon, 3 Red-breasted Nuthatch, 1 Dickcissel, 8 Bobolink, 3
Purple Finch.

drive into the Meadows at about 11:30 AM.

09/09/12 - Woodbridge, Community Gardens -- a fair number of migrants
Sunday morning, including nine warbler species with notables being
TENNESSEE and WILSON'S WARBLER.  Forty species in total were observed
in two hours.

09/09/12 - Stratford, Greenway -- c 9 AM; AMERICAN AVOCET seen briefly
in flight then found standing on the side of the jetty facing Milford,
so it was only visible by going back to Birdseye boatlauch and looking
back at jetty
Milford, Milford Point -- one early imm. GREAT CORMORANT sitting on
breakwater; one RED KNOT on the marsh side visible from the tower
(don't think I've ever seen one on the marsh side before).

Crossbills flew over heading west around 11 AM.
