after he left: a second DICKCISSEL and 1 LINCOLN'S SPARROW. The
juvenile Peregrine Falcon was perched on a branch 40 feet from us
offering great extended looks.

Sandpiper in the turf field with strips taken out north of the model
airplane field.

09/15/12 - Old Saybrook, Plum Bank Marsh, north end -- 12 Adult LITTLE
BLUE HERON, at least 8-10 im. LITTLE BLUE HERON (probably quite a few
more). This is by far the largest number I have ever seen in this
marsh. Birds seen by boat but should be visible looking north from the
South View cul de sac. Also 5 Salt Marsh Sparrows.

HERON/TRICOLORED HERON hybrid.

09/15/12 - Fairfield, Pine Creek -- a female Mourning Warbler in the
brushy area under the sumacs on the landfill.

Sparrow, 6 Purple Finches, 2 Red-breasted Nuthatches.
