From Dave Provencher:
11/18/14 - New London, Ocean Beach Park -- The Lark Sparrow was still
present this morning, in the area of the picnic tables. It moved to
the vegetation along the creek at one point. Though there are a few
other sparrows about, it appears to not be associating with them. Also
of note were 6 Common Eider and a small number of Northern Gannets
working very close to the shore.
From Doug Beach with Roger Preston and Ben Skaught:
11/18/14 - East Granby -- 1 Black Vulture over East Granby; seen from
the Simsbury Airport at 10:00. Approximately 25 American Pipits
continuing from last week at the Simsbury Airport.
From Chuck Imbergamo:
11/18/14 - Madison, yard -- A Fox Sparrow briefly joined the feeding
frenzy under our feeders at 1 PM today.
From Chris Loscalzo:
11/18/14 - Milford, Jonathan Law HS/Beaver Brook Pond -- the drake
EURASIAN WIGEON continues (in a flock of ~ 100 American Wigeon).
Stratford, Pecks Mill Pond -- one hen NORTHERN SHOVELER.
From Jim & Jan Sherwonit:
11/18/14 - Old Saybrook, yard -- Our lone Fox Sparrow (and female
Purple Finch) continue at the feeders along with all the usuals.
