My daughter and I spent 4 hours yesterday in the right places looking for
the bird. It never showed. Another fruitless trip up I-95 traffic. She went
back this am and found the bird in 5 minutes. Life is not fair.

I know; it can be very frustrating! I can’t tell you how many times I have driven to see a bird that flew off five minutes before I got there and then reappeared ten minutes after I left, or hung around all the next day!! Then, once in a while, I am in the right place at the right time and it makes everything worth it. The joys of birding, I guess. Hope you get to see it it.
