Peenting first heard from Walnut Beach parking lot 15-20min after sunset. Following boardwalk into Silver Sands and taking the dirt road toward SS Pkwy he was peenting just out of sight around a bend in the road when he launched into an aerial display. I hurried around the bend, waited and sure enough he came chirping and twittering back down and landed about 30’ away. How unusual is it for AMWO’s to do their “sky dance” this early in the year?
