Westport- Compo Beach- 8 pairs of American Oystercatchers including the returning Compo Beach pair and others on Cockenoe Island and Saugatuck Shores. 550 Double-crested Cormorants- groups of about 50 flying east up high and out over the middle of Long Island Sound, about 30 staking out their nesting spot on Goose Island in Norwalk.
