When I first arrived at MP around 6:10, there was only one Red Knot. I walked the sandbar then just came back to the start of the bar and now there are THREE. Briefly saw the American Golden Plover just after I arrived, but it flew off not long after. Also 2 palm warblers on the bar.  100s of cormorants were also by the rock pilings at the end of the bar.  4 immature yellow crowned night herons moved between the parking lot platform and the lagoon.
