Interesting while I've had a pair of purple finches all winter, yesterday I looked at my feeder and there were 6 males on the platform feeder. Within minutes several females joined them along with 2 male goldfinches. I figured it was a 'Purple Finch' boys night out and the girls crashed the party with male goldfinches.
