ONLINE CONFERENCE YOU DON'T WANT TO MISS

COA’s Birds and the Environment Science Conference

On Saturday, November 6, 2021, from 9:30 am  to  3:45 pm,  the Connecticut
Ornithological Association is delighted to host its first online Zoom
conference focusing on science projects about birds and their environment.
The event features more than a dozen 15-minute presentations by both
seasoned and budding scientists , and will give a sampling of some of the
bird-related science being done in Connecticut and beyond .

You may have already contributed to these projects through your eBird
reports, Christmas Bird Counts, Summer Bird Counts, Bird Atlas work, Hawk
Counts , Big January , seawatches, bird photography, bird art, finding and
identifying uncommon birds, bird banding,  etc.  Thank you!  Birders'
contributions to science (and conservation) have grown substantially in
every decade, and this conference will highlight and recognize some of
those contributions.
