Grassland Birds

5/15- Allen's Meadow, Wilton- 2 Eastern Meadowlarks and a female Bobolink.
Like the singing male Bobolink I had last week, I'm sure they're just
passing through but I can only imagine what this locale must have been like
for nesting grassland/meadow birds 40+yrs ago before the ball fields were
put in.
