I went to the Branford Water Treatment Plant on Block Island Rd to see if there were any warblers in the trees there. Last January there was a Northern Paula & some others. Past the driveway into the plant on the right there are evergreens close to the fence. Where they end, the fence has fake evergreen things on it so you can’t easily see through it.
I was standing in the road right at the spot where the first group of evergreens end. I could see movement & saw both kinds of kinglets moving around. Then I saw a bright yellow bird. Too small to be a chat, but I thought it might be a Nashville. I had a hard tim getting on it, it keep moving about, but at one point it responded to my pishing by popping up in front of me. It had a black cap on its head & no other marking on face. Olive green back no wingbars. Wilson’s Warbler. I could not get a pic with my phone, kept moving around too much. Hopefully someone else will get a picture of it.

Didn’t see Sara’s post till just now, but there’s definitely a Wilson’s Warbler at the Branford sewage plant. Both kinglets. I’m pretty sure there isn’t a Nashville
