First, guests who can't follow instructions about operating a marine toilet are guests that will never be invited back on my boat. Second, if you can't successfully instruct a guest to follow directions regarding the toilet how can you expect them to follow safety instructions. At a minimum, I would suggest instructing guests to ask if they're not sure. I also let them know the he/she who clogs the toilet fixes it. I haven't had a guest clog a head yet.
