Information from your knowledge and experience;

We are closing, in July, on a 1996 Ocean Alexander 423
With twin 210 hp NA 3208 Cats (500 Hours)
and 8 KW Westerbake (sp?) 150 hrs
We will be in the Oriental, NC area for 4-6 weeks after the close,
then to the Chesapeake for Aug and Sept
Florida & Bahamas, Nov - Mar
Then start The Great Loop in April 06
estimated Cat run time, 300 - 500 hours per year

Questions:
1- What hours do you change the oil (Mains & Gen.)
2- What is the suggested spare parts inventory for the Cats & Gen
3- Where is the best, (read economical/low cost), to purchase the needed parts
4- Any issues that I should watch out for (boat & engs.)
5- Where is a training program for Cat equipment

As always thanks for your help and input
