8/7 Sandy PtOne adult Long-billed Dowitcher flew in to roost at the high tide on the spit on the harbor side at 6:30pm
Shorebirds continue in smaller numbers with noticeable increase in Turnstone and Semiplamated Plovers as well as a single adult Red Knot. The first juvenile shorebirds are arriving now 
Terns continue to increase with Roseate, Black and Royal Tern being seen.
