I typically have two to four pairs in my area every year.  Friday I saw five males at the same time on or near my feeders.  On Saturday my wife saw five males and thinks there possibly were six.  In the past I have seen four females at once, but curiously this year the most I have seen together is two.

I have seen them eat California red grapes as well as seeds.  Several of them seem partial to safflower seed over black oil sunflower seed.

My bear is salivating at the thought of red grapes and seeds...

You are so lucky!
