Re: B210 power and gain levels
Wed, Nov 20, 2024 3:53 PM
If your goal is to estimate the power at the antenna port using a strictly "numerical" approach based on the   gain setting, you are in a state of sin.    You MUST calibrate over your entire expected operating space,   including center frequency and sample rate, and at various gain settings (although the gain setting should   be largely linear).

https://pppx.gdgps.net// /APPS/accepts GPS measurement files, and applies the most advanced GPS positioning technology from NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory to estimate the position of your GPS receivers, whether they are static, in motion, on the ground, or in the air.

I need a nice stable ground reference I can use to drive a Ka band uplink bounced off a vehicle out by the moon to estimate range and doppler.

summer storage on the hard in lower Georgia/Savanah area

The estimates I was given for a variety of (extensive) jobs were very close to the final cost (they were "estimates," not "quotes"). I was never charged a dime for dockage or use of the facilities (showers, restrooms) while there for some 5 months. By the way, they do have limited transient space, and at a very good rate. No fuel or pumpout.

The editorial contains a discussion of research with "Big Data", developments with the journal, a summary of the issue, and a citation analysis that arrives at a 2011 minimum journal impact estimate of 2.625 (ISI) and 3.625 (Google Scholar). We are confident the new issue will meet a lot of interest and have substantial impact on the field.

In your case, It is just hidden in the drag coefficient (.004) and the over estimation of the exposed area. I do not know how closely you calculated the exact exposed area, but if you used some sort of rectangle (heightXwidth) it is probably quite a bit over the actual true wind area.

TWL: passive stabilizers

I estimate that the extreme lower end is waving about 1 foot. This probably means that the steel will eventually work harden but the consensus of the "experts" (I'd like a comment from a real expert if there is one out there) is that it would take years for the hardening to take place.
