[CFP] DASFAA 2021 Call for Papers
Sat, Feb 20, 2021 5:22 AM
Moreover, for immersive VR and AR, Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) have been widely adopted to address scene segmentation, depth estimation, realistic 3D modeling, image fusion, whereas effective gaze estimation and prediction algorithms are designed to reduce the computation time for immersive view rendering.

TWL: About the Yacht Delivery Business

Within a few hours they got a call giving a cost estimate based on $100/day for a skipper, 25/day for a mate and 10/day for the new guy crew, so many estimated days, food costs/day, fuel, transportation to and from, lodging if needed, etc. This was very detailed and subject to reduced costs for layover days due to weather or boat preparation.

Sailboat designers estimate that sails can produce about 1 hp. for each 27 sq. ft. of area under good conditions. The 280 sq. ft. of sail on PUFFIN should generate about 10.4 hp. of propulsive effect.

Naval architects use a rule of thumb in powering displacement hulls, estimating that the power necessary to achieve hull speed is approximately equal to 1 HP per 500 LB of displacement. My 16,000 LB trawler would thus require 32 HP.

Anchoring in the 21st Century

These are a better scale than NOAA and have additional bells an whistles such as direction arrows with time of passage estimates. The technique then is to make and estimate of when the front (most often the source of violent storms) will be here. If beyond bed time (sundown) set the alarm clock 30min prior and go to sleep.

Be aware that for high digital powers, your physical power estimate is less exact. Best regards, Marcus [1] compare your daughterboard's data from http://files.ettus.com/performance_data/ On 08.12.2015 04:38, Marcus D.
