FL Taxes Redux

She estimated my "registration fee" would be around $50 through my birthday in July. Turned out to be $45, based on my birthday which is 6 months off.

I estimate it is about as difficult as passing the USCG 6 pack exam. If anyone wants details of the NYS regulations, I can supply chapter and verse. Re: T&T: Fuel useage

That should give you a reasonable estimate of the power required. A diesel engine burns .06 gallons of fuel per hp per hour. A gasoline engine about .09 gallons per hp per hour. Here is a sample calculation. Assume you have a 30 ft. trawler with a 27.5 ft. LWL with a displacement of 16,000 lbs. Your hull speed will be 7 knots.

Re: T&T: Boat Buying

Expenses to get the boat home depend on many factors that are hard for someone else to estimate. I spent $400 on batteries before I left Palmetto, FL headed to Brunswick, GA in July. We anchored 8 nights and spent one in a marina during the trip. Other than fuel and groceries, we didn't have any significant expenses.

.$200 each + estimated freight $50-100 each = $250-300 each which is an attractive '8D' AGM battery price. That is the current lead to battery pricing... which is at a yearly low so expect an upward price movement.. As in all things - YMMV - do your homework! Douglas Pohl M/V GREY GOOSE Astoria OR

Re: [OpenSCAD] Normal Hull direction vector for extruding geometry

We can estimate the gain of disjoint layers by setting lh greater than the filament height lh. With lh=1.05, the module with_sweep() runs in 13 sec. It is not unthinkable to generate one huge-sized polyhedron representing the whole print. It would be a very hard work to write a code to slice the layers in finer ones to melt them but that is all we need.

FPGA reprogramming and real-time

I also want to implement a pre-equalization on the transmitter side using the channel state information estimate. I build the model using simulink, and I have several questions regarding what is the best to do to reach a real-time processing.

Lengths aren't fixed, but give a realistic estimate and please don't exceed 30 minutes unless you have something special planned (in that case, contact one of us). Also, don't forget to include time for Q&A. Typical slot lengths would be 30 Minutes including QA. You aren't limited to slide presentations, of course. Be creative.

X310: GPSDO not used by default
Thu, Nov 26, 2015 2:20 PM
Through post-processing I can easily estimate the clock frequency difference between the second X310 and the first X310. Now what I discovered was: * Second X310 configured to use the internal clock: a drift of about 2e-7 to 3e-7 results from different measurement runs.

Re: [USRP-users] TwinRX Gain

This is a very rough estimate. In front of this, there are fixed and variable gain stages, including a variable gain stage in the ADC itself. The mixer stage(s) may also have a small amount of conversion gain, I don't know off the top of my head.
