Harris-Stowe to Partner with Congressman Clay to Host Voting Rights Symposium

It is estimated that more than 250,000 Missourians have no state ID and are not allowed to vote. Some 33,000 individuals possess expired identification, leaving many with their voting rights at risk. The majority of people fall into three categories: the elderly, African-American or individuals between the ages of 18 and 24.

Dr. Abebe receives Board of Governors Award for Excellence in Teaching

Nematodes impact agriculture with a current global estimate of $345 billion a year. Abebe, a native of Ethiopia, said he is humbled to receive this recognition in response to his research. His research area of expertise has allowed him to mentor 27 undergraduate students over seven years.

AT&T Donates $50,000 to Fund STEM Scholarships at Grambling State University

Tuskegee University receives $2M grant from USDA/NIFA to enhance organic farming

The U.S. market for organic produce is estimated at $31.5 billion dollars. With the exception of North Carolina and Florida, the Southeast remains behind in organic production and imports most of its organic produce from California, the Midwest, the Northeast, or Mexico.

More Than $3 Million Raised for Scholarships at Morehouse During "A Candle in the Dark' Gala

An estimated $1 million was raised during the Gala through ticket sales and sponsorships. But that wasn't all. Shortly after guests dined, The Aaron Foundation announced a $1 million donation for students to attend Morehouse College.
