TWL: RE: Dive knives
Sun, Mar 4, 2001 7:04 PM
Over the years, Ive learned how to estimate the hardness fairly accurately; but that is not important to the average person. All you need is a very hard standard and then judge the other knives on a relative qualitative scale instead of a quantitative one. My rigging knife is an expensive one.

TWL: Firsts - Holding Tank

However, I have a particularly fertile imagination, so after my usual extended period of procrastination, I got an estimate for someone else to do the work. The price wasn't unreasonable, but it was high enough to return me to procrastination mode. On Monday, I realized the clock was really ticking.

determine a position by measuring the distances to a number of known locations - the spacecraft constellation in orbit In practice, a sat-nav receiver will capture atomic-clock time signals sent from the satellites and convert them into the respective distances A sat-nav device will use the data sent from at least four satellites to get the very best estimate

Your estimate for phase shift tempco of the limiter and associated filters is wildly optimistic. If one uses a single pole RC low pass filter using 100ppm/C tempco components then its equivalent phase shift tempco (at the mixer RF input) will be around 0.8ps/C if the filter 3dB is equal to the beat frequency.

Or you can simply take the maximum temperature shift x temperature coefficient for the same time as your GPSDO time constant to estimate the frequency error you can have depending on the temperature. Of course that is also a that depend sort of thing but at least gives an indication.

Re: [time-nuts] WWVB Dephaser Question

I estimate the ferrite antenna to be approx 20k ohm which doesn't match the 50 ohm input of the SA. Maybe feed the rod antenna into a single stage op amp with a gain of 1 to feed the SA would work give me a rough idea?? I previously said I had 1 mV of daytime signal according to the WWVB maps. But that was wrong.

As to all intents and purposes, the bottom of the fillet will be parallel to the bottom of the estimated groove, so the angle to the horizontal will be the same. The top of the flattened ridge can be wider than the width of the fillet, but the edges of the flat will be parallel, too.

The estimated cost for 4 sessions was $800.00, and the rebate was only $313.60 from Medicare, leaving a balance of $486.40 for her to 'pay off'. When I inquired about the cost and checked qualifications with the Board, not one of the psychs was a Specialist psych.

Article from The Day re: increased funding for DEP & CT's environment
Tue, Apr 15, 2008 1:21 AM
A 2003 consultant's report done for the DEP listed 45 repair and improvement projects that were needed, at an estimated cost of $18 million, in addition to more full- and part-time staff. “We have no money for materials,” said Smith. “We can't even repair the trucks properly. We're not able to maintain the park trails properly.
