Re: T&T: iPad navigation- gps

He has been unable to enter exact Lat/Long waypoints - he can estimate a waypoint but cannot find a way to enter exact numerals for accurate Lat/Longs. He cannot create a waypoint list and import it either. Any one know of a solution?

how to choose tune_delay?
Mon, Aug 3, 2015 9:11 AM
Is there any way to get a good estimate of tune_delay value? I want to keep this as short as possible. (btw I'm using a USRP-N210 with WBX daughterboard) Some trial and error gave me values around 50ms, but this seems rather high compared to what I've read online. Any hints are welcome! Thanks, Francois --

Re: [time-nuts] OT - GPS and North

Gyrocompasses take some time to get a measurement ( one hour) but even their estimate of North cannot match the precision that the GPS system can get us with time. cheers, Neville Michie

Clearly the number is only a rough estimate; the earth is a poor timekeeper. Details here: /tvb
