Hello. My name is Carie Torrence and I am working with Chuck and the other great folks at IMLA to establish a Young Lawyer's Group. I'm the City Attorney for the City of North Las Vegas and have worked for the City since 2002. When I first joined the City, I was lucky enough to work with a supportive group of attorneys with a great deal of experience working for a municipality. Not all attorneys are as lucky as I was so I thought it would be nice to start a forum for new or newer government attorneys to network and share information/advice/experiences. My other goal is to encourage newer attorneys to become more active in IMLA. I want to welcome everyone to the Group and encourage you to post an introduction to the listserv. Carie
