A safety heads up to all power boaters who go great distance or encounter rough water. Most power boat manufacturers ( mine included) put seacocks only on those through hulls below the static water line. Those through hulls below the dynamic water line ( those through hulls which go underwater with pitching and rolling) USUALLY ARE NOT PROTECTED BY SEA COCKS. Be sure to keep a close  eye on those unprotected through hulls and put seacocks on them if practical. Jon, Nordic Tug 37 Valentine.
