The Common Gallinule continues at Copp Family Park in New London. As you walk in from the parking lot, take the right fork yellow trail, keeping dog park on your right. Go past the dog park to waters edge & start scanning the pond. The bird was out feeding at the base of the far left strand of phragmites. Dark bird with bright red bill, white stripe on flank. Called several times. Many thanks to the original finder for reporting it.
