A member is wondering if anyone requires fiber companies to do video inspections of their installations - before and after, so any damage to water/sewer/other utility lines can be noted at the time of the fiber line installation? A gravity line breach would not necessarily be known for a few months, and then it would be much harder to definitely say it was the fiber company that punched the line. If anyone out there is requiring video of the installs, please let me know at akarras@imla.orgmailto:akarras@imla.org and I'll pass it along to the member.
