MC 30 cockpit too small. I wasn't crazy about the head room entering the
cabin neither.
Excite-Cat 82 was very nice.
Twin-Vee too bare bones. They should offer some options.
I was hoping to see a Tom-Cat, Kevlar-Cat and Leisure-Cat.
Show was great!
Ride home was a bit wet and slow on Thursday night.
Thinking of heading to Miami Int. Boat show in Feb. I here that's the "KING"
of all shows. Has anyone attended?

Regarding the MotorCat 30, it's hard to consider her
as "trailerable" with a 3 meter beam! Otherwise, it
looks to be a usable choice for those who choose
to select the smallest boat on which they might be
comfortable, rather than the largest boat they can
afford.

That certainly was an impressive array of power catamarans at last
week's show in Annapolis!
From the sporty offerings by World Cat, Glacier Bay and Twin Vee to
the spectacular Cumberland 44, you could pick and choose models to
suit your cruising desires and your budget.
As the show highlights, I would have to list, in no special order:
-- MotorCat 30: an exceptional small cruiser that seems to have been
designed and built with care. Augurs well for what we can expect in
the 27-footer that will be introduced in 2006.

-- Highland 35: A new and worthy competitor for the popular PDQ 34.

-- Manta 44 PowerCat: A brand new boat that looks like a winner right
out of the gate.

-- Lagoon Power 43: Now, here is a master stateroom that is truly masterful.

-- ExciteCat 810: two staterooms in a 26.5-footer, simply amazing!

-- Endeavour 40 TrawlerCat: Talk about a spacious two-stateroom
liveaboard cruiser!
http://www.endeavourcats.com
-- Livingston 7.5: is it the smallest production power cat for sale
in the U.S.?

-- Prowler 480 Powercat: You gotta love that sleek profile.
http://www.prowlercat.co.za/
-- Cumberland 44: A spectacular yacht that begs to be chartered with
a group of friends. Unless you can afford the $750K bite by yourself.

Question heard most often at the show: What happened to the CS 42 Power Cat?

C-Dory veep Jeff Messmer was aboard the C-Dory 25 at Annapolis. He
told me 14 or 17 TomCat 255s have already been sold. The new TomCat
will be on display at the Seattle show in January.

I'm not sure you are going to see many more power cats in Miami than
you did in Annapolis. Check the exhibitor directory before starting
the long drive south.
