Sunday Racing and More Bribery

To the Cruising Fleet –

Wednesday night racing is over for the year, but there are still eight
Sunday races left before we close up shop, and the HRYRA Last Chance Regatta
is September 28th and 29th. That’s eleven more possible races to put on your
calendar. So far we’ve had 16 boats race on Sundays, and some of those days
have been spectacular sailing.

We know from the Labor Day Regatta that the Cruising Fleet racers are
particularly susceptible to bribery. So to encourage you all to come out and
sail, we’re offering more free t-shirts (three) with your boat name if you
race three Sundays this year. Let me know if you want to qualify, and e-mail
me the sizes needed (women’s sizes available, too).

The forecast this weekend is 73°, partly cloudy, 20% chance of
precipitation, and NNW breezes at 8 – 10 mph. Sounds pretty good to me! Hope
to see you on the starting line at 1:30 pm this Sunday.
