Ken & Ellen, Definitely remove the searchlight and get below 15' ... the 15'6" is on a good day only. Higher water is more typical. And fill your tanks at Winter Harbor by Oneida Lake, which will get you a bit of extra clearance, with the cheapest fuel anywhere.
