You can pay for extra trash cans from Waste Connections. That is exactly what I did since I did my own yard.

Do you know if Waste Connections will be allowing additional bags to be
placed at the curbside anytime soon? We have large yards and lots of green
waste that needs to be removed (those of us that do our own yard work and
don’t have pick up trucks).
Thanks for your help.

Great questions and feedback. Thank you for your interest in our
community. Your voice is our scorecard on how we are showing up. I will
provide some clarity around the bulk trash pickup.
Yes, the 2 bulk 40ft. trash containers is part of our agreement with
Vaquero ( now Waste Connections). Additional containers would be an added
expense. This service was negotiated up front with the rates to provide
convenience to each of you and offset the time and cost of taking these
items to the local landfill. At least once a year. I believe the typical
cost for each load is around $30.
I agree the containers fill quickly especially with all types of items and
materials going in. We each have the same opportunity but face similar
challenges on getting to the containers before they fill up. Your input on
a third container scheduled multiple times a year are great suggestions in
providing additional capacity. We have heard you and this will be an
agenda item for discussion at our upcoming meeting.
Our purpose as the BODs is to serve the community. To provide financial
management and neighborhood planning. To listen to your voice, your
suggestions and make decisions based on the overall good and needs of our
community.
Thank you for your continued feedback on how the needs of our community
and how to make it better. This input allows your BODs to make informed
decisions that enhances our community.
Have a great and safe week.

For the LSR Board to consider, while it could be amazing how much stuff
we (the residents) have to fill these dumpsters so quickly, it does appear
that only once or twice a year is not adequate to help us clean things out.
I don’t know if this dumpster service (which is appreciated) is part of
the overall contract with Vaquero Waste & Recycling, or if something extra
paid for out of the HOA general funds.
Maybe just two dumpsters is not adequate. Another consideration could be
three dumpsters. One placed at end of Woodland Pass and the other two
placed at the usual locations. Though I wonder if three dumpsters could
fill quickly.
While it may have been with our previous trash company, I believe one
previous approach was when a dumpster was full it was hauled away and
replaced with an empty one? Could this be looked into, considering a
number of the residents are unable to get rid of bull trash since the
dumpsters fill so quickly?
Thank you.Tom C.

All,
We could really use a couple more dumpsters for bulk collection. 2
just
doesn’t seem to be enough for our neighborhood. They fill up to
quickly.
And if you can’t make it out in the a.m. you are out of luck.
Thanks,John Castro

Good afternoon,
What a great turnout for the bulk pickup.
The container on Autumn Terrace is full with items over the top.
Please do not put anything else in the container. They will not pick
it
up
if we exceed the top side limit.
For the container at Woodland Trace do not fill to the top. There
must
be 2 ft clearance at the top for travel down the road. Break down
boxes
and other items that you can to allow room for all.
Remember no rocks, stones, batteries, oil, antifreeze, paint, tires,
or
other hazardous materials are permitted.
Appliances are permitted only if the Freon is removed.
Thank you for your support.
