Next phase of 2.0 roadmap work

Thanks to everyone who contributed to the 2.0 Roadmap work, it was very
helpful for the project team. The next step in this process is for each
institution to write up use cases for all those things they marked as a
"must have." If you have use cases on the regular project wiki or
deployment wiki already, that's great. If not, please take time over the
next two-three weeks to add them in. We'll then examine all the use
cases for commonalities, and call together a meeting of all implementers
to discuss our development plans - we expect there will be overlap that
allows us to help each other out with the development of needed features
that aren't on the core development roadmap.

The not-on-the-list list at the bottom of the 2.0 roadmap
<http://wiki.collectionspace.org/display/collectionspace/Road+Map+to+2.0
+-+Implementer+Input>  has links to the functional page for that item.
Each functional page has a space for user stories; for example,
Acquisition
<http://wiki.collectionspace.org/display/collectionspace/Acquisition+Use
+Cases> . If you've already written up user stories on the deployment
wiki, you can excerpt them (instead of cutting/pasting) to the
functional page with the excerpt macro (instructions below).

Thanks so much for all your help, and please let me know if you have any
questions.

Best regards,

Megan

Using the multi-excerpt macro

On a page titled Sample Page on the Deploy wiki:

{multi-excerpt:name=Sample 1}
Text excerpt 1
{multi-excerpt}

On the core wiki page where you'd like the excerpt to appear:

{multi-excerpt-include:deploy:Sample Page|name=Sample 1|nopanel=true}

I set up an example of the MMI Gap Analysis
http://wiki.collectionspace.org/display/deploy/MMI+Gap+Analysis  page
in the deploy wiki excerpted to the Cataloging Use Cases
<http://wiki.collectionspace.org/display/collectionspace/Cataloging+Use+
Cases>  page on the core wiki if you'd like to see this macro in action.
