Hello Tacoma area art-lovers! I'm organizing a trip to Arizona (Sedona and Arcosanti) May 31 - June 5, and I have two spots remaining for fellow woman creatives. Sedona and Arcosanti are two of my favorite places. The red rock hiking and relaxation in the desert sunshine - not to mention the arts culture - are fantastic. *My goal is for this trip to revolve around hiking and relaxing in the beauty of AZ desert and red rocks, while creating art and forging new friendships with fellow woman artists*. The first day will be more "touristy", seeing a few arts-related sites in the Scottsdale area before heading north to Sedona. Various price points / options will be available for that. Please note: At this time, myself (a 27 year old executive assistant by day and freelance artist in my off-hours who is currently training to climb Rainier), and two women in their younger 20's are taking part. We will likely be doing 2 or even three hikes a day in Sedona, which could be 10+ miles a day. Accommodations are not fancy and you may be sharing a room. Packing light will be a must.
