Kick off the summer with printing and book arts this June at Write253! All events are free and at* Write253 (1102 Tacoma Ave. S)*. Saturday June 7th, 12pm-4pm- *Collage and Zine Making*. Stop by and make a collage or zine with our extensive collection of paper, magazines, and art supplies. All ages welcome. Saturday June 14th, 12pm-4pm- *Paper Making*. Join us and learn how to make your own paper from scratch. All ages welcome. Saturday June 21st, 3pm- *Monthly Book Club Interest Meeting*. Join Write253 and Tacoma Public Library's teen book club. For our interest meeting we will pick our first book, get to know each other, and eat free food! All book selections will come from TPL's book club kits, so no one has to buy a book. For ages 14-20. Saturday June 28th, 12pm-4pm- *Open Letterpress Shop*. Come make your own poster, postcard, or work of art using our letterpress equipment with the help of experienced printers. All ages welcome.
