Betsy DeVos is testifying right now on the President’s FY 2019 education budget request before the House Labor-HHS-Education Appropriations Subcommittee.

It’s worth taking a look if you have time. Last week, most people in education community were sure this hearing would be postponed. I think its interesting that it was not. And that they kicked things off with Appropriations Chairman Frelinghuysen stopping by to essentially chastise her staff.
I don't know if there will be any adult ed questions, but I’m sure there will be questions about her reorganization proposal.
At the very least, be sure to read this piece in this mornings' Times which does a pretty good job summarizing the budget service dismantling issue — the Times has obtained the entire plan.
