If you haven't done so yet, please send in your assessment as soon as possible, as per the by-laws, it was due by January 31st. Please contact EMB at 425-452-7330 if you need a replacement bill or have any questions. Contact List Recently, a few homes in our neighborhood have had pipes burst while their owners were away. Neighbors quickly contacted board members to alert the owners, but in one case, the board did not have emergency contact information. This is another reason to ensure that our contact list has complete and accurate information. Save the date - Annual Egg Hunt and Vuecrest Picnic This year's Vuecrest neighborhood egg hunt is scheduled for the morning of Saturday, April 12th. Even if you don't have kids, this is a great event to meet neighbors and enjoy the spring morning. We could use a couple of volunteers to help out with the event; please contact social@vuecrest.net if you're interested. Also, our picnic is scheduled for the afternoon and evening of Sunday, August 24th. We'll be bringing back Maximus/Minimus (the giant pig truck) that was such a hit at last year's picnic. Flag Duty The flag in the Vuecrest esplanade on Park Road has been maintained by Barb Prahl for many years. This involves raising and lowering the flag on specified days and checking the flag for wear and damage. If you have a responsible teen who would be interested in taking on this service (or you'd like to do it yourself), please email president@vuecrest.net. Call for Volunteers The board is looking for a volunteer to write our monthly newsletter and help with other board communications tasks. If you are interested, please email directors@vuecrest.net.
