Net Zero House Grand Opening Thursday May 9th, 10:00-2 pm Clover Park Technical College 4500 Steilacoom Blvd. SW Lakewood, WA 98499 Join us for the unveiling of the Sustainable Building Science program Net Zero Energy project! There will be a ribbon cutting, tour, and a keynote address with Governor Jay Inslee. It's the first educational zero energy structure in WA to have a totally transparent approach to green building where every working system of the house can be examined and experienced. Passive heating and cooling techniques, photovoltaics, and solar hot water just to name a few. After almost three years of construction, lecture, product research, and recruiting sponsors, the ZNE House will become a working laboratory for students to track and monitor performance.
