HOA Officer Appointments
With all the pomp and ceremony we can muster, which unfortunately isn’t much. Drum roll...Your HOA President, Chris Bodiford, has appointed Susan Gibson as Secretary and Steve Bathiche as Treasurer for 2021. We’d like to extend a hand of welcome and applaud these wonderful neighbors who will be volunteering their time to our community this year.
2021 Vuecrest Assessments
You should have received your Vuecrest assessment request in the mail by now. This year you can easily pay by check, electronic pay, or credit card through the PropVivo website. If you haven’t received a letter from PropVivo for your yearly assessment, please contact treasurer@vuecrest.net mailto:treasurer@vuecrest.net.
Thanks Lea!
Last year Lea Sorgen held the position of Treasurer. She was instrumental in working Vuecrest through a full financial audit and restructure. We are thankful for all of her valuable input and organization. Her busy schedule would not allow her to continue with the position in 2021, but she will always be a vital and appreciated part of our community.
Holiday Lighting
The holiday lighting will be coming down at the end of February. Thank you again to Rob DeRider and Susan Gibson for all their effort with the planning and processes of installation. We hope you enjoyed the added sparkle during Christmas through to the New Year and Lunar New Year.
Vuecrest Architectural Changes
Have you been in COVID hibernation just thinking about making some changes to your Vuecrest home once we jump into Spring? If so, please remember that all major exterior changes (i.e. paint color, fences, hedges, re-landscaping, new driveways, sheds, etc.) need to be reviewed and approved by the Vuecrest Board. Please review the Vuecrest Protective Restrictions at www.Vuecrest.net http://www.vuecrest.net/.
Vuecrest Construction Update
Have you noticed that Vuecrest is always under construction? Me too. Because we’re a high value neighborhood, that probably won’t end any time soon. So, as we make the best of it...don’t be afraid to mention to any working contractors that we have some rules that will keep all the neighbors happy as their projects progress. All of them are found in the building guide at www.Vuecrest.net http://www.vuecrest.net/, but here are my favorites to share with those working in our neighborhood (and I do so regularly).
All subs and construction workers must keep their vehicles parked on one side of the street and in an appropriate parking area. Parking on the lawn is never permitted.
Construction hours are: 7am-6pm Monday through Friday, and 9am-6pm Saturdays. No construction-related noise is allowed on Sundays or holidays.
Here’s a quick snap shot of the 2021 projects currently in the pipeline from our Architectural Chair:
Six projects are wrapping up.
Four active projects are in progress.
One proposal pending updated submission.
One pre-review completed and pending story poles.
Two projects set to begin in early 2021.
One project on-hold.
Several smaller Spring projects are also planned.
