FUBAR ODYSSEY 2007
Fleet Underway to Baja Rally
April 12th Update
Seminar and Dinner was sold out and saw
interested boaters from as far away as the East
Coast, Canada, and Mexico. The applications were
opened the first week-end in April and by April
12th 53 entries were paid and complete with 4
more in progress and more arriving daily.
We are negotiating with the marinas as our fleet
increases in size; entries are still open. With
six months to go, we expect some changes in our
list of boat.
At the seminar, the starter kit was displayed for
the participants. Each boat will receive these
items in the starter kit.
The Lightrule from Weems and Plath;
Mexican Curtsey Flag from West Marine;
6th Edition Mexico-Pan Chart Book from Mariners Ink Corp.;
Boating Guide to Mexico by Capts. John and Patricia Rains.
We are busy starting the Operations Manual and
plan to put out advance pages for reference and
provide them in the notebook for each participant.
Plans are being made to inspect the boats later
this summer and more on that later also
Check out the website for merchandise, hats only
at this time, and join the blog.
Your humble FUBAR staff,
