Bank Swallow Colony at State Street, Hamden has grown. Leucistc Mourning Dove at Beaver Ponds, New Haven.

The bank swallow colony at Modern Industrial Materials off State Street in Hamden has grown from 11 noticeable burrows in May to almost 50 burrows visible today.  If I was taller or stood on my car there could be more to see.  Many swallows flying about.

A near albino but just leucistic Mourning dove was perched on the aluminum fishing dock at the north end of Beaver Ponds, below the King-Robinson magnet school in New Haven this morning.
