Then, she'll lead us in a special mixology lesson and you can mix along to create the PERFECT whiskey sour. Trust me, this is a life skill you will not want to miss out on!

Whiskey Sour Ingredients and Equipment
For each drink you'll need:
2 oz. whiskey (rye or bourbon is traditional)
1 egg white (can skip or use a vegan alternative)
3/4 oz. *simple syrup
3/4 oz. fresh-squeezed lemon juice
Ice
Garnish: lemon twist and/or cherry
Equipment:
cocktail shaker or mason jar with lid
spring from a strainer or shaker wire whisk ball
jigger or small measuring cup
strainer or something to hold the ice back while pouring
GLASS! coupe or rocks glass
*Simple Syrup
In a saucepan combine 1 cup water and 1 cup sugar. Barely bring to boil, stirring to completely dissolve sugar. Remove from heat and cool. Lasts several weeks in a glass bottle in the refrigerator.
