I was also at Black Rock Harbor in Bridgeport this afternoon. At the  time I
was there, I counted 200 Lesser Scaup on a 1,2,3 basis, rather than
estimating.  They were originally down by the large boat lift at the  western end of
Captain's Cove (good light angle from Arthur Street)  but then moved up to the
cove by the intersection of Seabright Avenue and  Beacon Street.  I missed
spotting the Redhead.

This spot has long been a favorite location for Lesser Scaup in early to  mid
February. In years gone by, there was at least one occurrence of Tufted Duck
in with them - but it has been awhile.
